A lot of “hentai” games of NSFW have disappeared from the Switch Eshop, which caused the hope that Nintendo will take moderation more seriously

Good news, it seems that there may be a kind of repression in the amazing amount of “hentai” puzzle games in the Nintendo Switch Shop, or at least one tactic that has helped give them such a platform.

If you have spent some time sailing through the Switch Eshop in recent years, you are likely to have found a hentai game or five announced in the new or upcoming launch sections. They are the type of games that promise intrepid players a look at some scarcely dressed anime girls if they have the patience of sitting first through one or two. Although Nintendo has expanded beyond its “family” classic in the most recent years, the shameless appearances of these games on the platform have always been quite shocking, even if it is obviously not Nintendo in itself.

However, there is a reason why these games and certain other Switch releases can be seen so prominently in the eShop, and that is due to the great volume of them. If you look closely, many games actually have crowds of different “editions”, titled things such as Deluxe, Ultimate and other creative adjectives, with the only real difference between them generally with the DLC characters with which they come. This allows them to reappear essentially in the recent launched section, in the sales pages when any of the different versions receives discounts and, in general, fill the search results.

Now, however, it is some of these relaunches that seem to have disappeared from eShop. As Automata reportswas first seen by Twitter user @naetoru60 that multiple versions of the “hentai” games of the editor reddeer.games, including Hentai worldHentai Girls and Hentai Golf – have been removed. Automaton reports that Hentai Girls, for example, had 16 different editions beyond its standard version, which have now been eliminated (although the original is still intact, just like its DLC).

It is a similar story with Hentai Golf (which now has its original version and an “complete” edition in the Japanese eshop) and Hentai World, although curiously, the latter still has 20 versions (including the original) available in the United Kingdom. So, if measures are really being taken, it has not yet been completely implemented throughout the world.

It is important to note that it is not clear if this is the result that Nintendo itself adopts a position against the games, or if the developer Reddeer.games has made the decision independently. However, as Automaton points out, other games of the same editor, which especially No Promise to the players a look at a selection of 2D girls with tight clothes, there is still apparently all their intact variations.
