In the video, the woman, audibly panicked and out of breath, can be heard speaking on a call as she describes the heartbreaking situation. “They are following us, they are hitting the vehicle,” he says in a terrified voice. It provides its location and even notes the vehicle number of the alleged perpetrators.

The situation gets even worse when he adds: “They are blocking our road, they are in front of our vehicle.” Then he describes an even more alarming moment: “He is abusing, he is opening the door.”

The video, which was shared three days ago, has been gaining traction online. However, Hindustan Times has not independently verified the exact date of the incident.

Take a look at the video:

Many users flooded the comments section of the video, demanding immediate action against the perpetrators and urging authorities to ensure stricter safety measures for women. However, the video also sparked divisive debate, with some expressing skepticism about the incident. A section of commentators suggested that the woman could have provoked the situation, highlighting a worrying trend of blaming the victims in such cases.

One user commented: “No one would randomly come and chase or hit your car…what’s the story behind it…the road looks busy, don’t panic.”

Another added: “Did the Bengaluru police really do something?… Now they even have the vehicle number.”

A third wrote: “Bengaluru police are not commenting now. When the locals do it.”

This alarming event is reminiscent of another incident that occurred in April 2024, in which a woman recorded three men on a scooter following her car and banging on its windows. The incident took place near St. John’s Hospital from Hosur Road-Koramangala junction to Nagarjuna restaurant in Koramangala 5th block in Bengaluru.
