A man has been seriously injured after being attacked at a bus stop in Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall, police have said.
Officers were called at around 08:45 GMT on Monday after reports that a man had been seriously assaulted in Mutley Plain.
A guard was deployed to the scene and the victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 17-year-old from Plymouth has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The force said it believed there was no major threat and that both parties knew each other.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact police.
