The Charlotte Hornets will face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday in a battle of two teams going in completely opposite directions. Charlotte comes into this game having lost nine straight and with a 7-26 record.

Cleveland, on the other hand, has won nine straight games and has a record of 30-4 on the season. The Cavaliers have been the best team in the NBA all season, but any team can lose on any given night.

These two teams have already met twice this year, and Cleveland has taken both matchups so far. The Cavaliers don’t have much on the injury report and come into this game fairly healthy. This only gives them even more of an advantage against the Hornets.

But coming into this game, the Hornets could be without some key players.

Star guard LaMelo Ball was listed as questionable before the game and will play in this contest.

Ball has been having a good season for the Hornets despite their lack of success in the standings. For the year, he averaged 30.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

The All-Star has improved his game this season and has been putting on a show whenever he is on the court. Injuries have affected him a bit as Ball has been limited to just 22 games this year.

Any success the Hornets have on the court goes through Ball and he is the leader of the franchise. But he does have some help, which comes in the form of second-year player Brandon Miller.

Miller has also taken his game to a higher level this season, averaging 21.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game. The former lottery pick is showing why the league was so excited about him coming out of the draft.

Both Miller and Ball have made the Hornets at least more formidable to play against. They haven’t figured out how to win games yet, but at least they can be competitive on the court.

This game against the Cavaliers will be another test for Charlotte and they will try to break the losing streak. It will be difficult, but the Hornets have a team capable of surprising.
