The James duo controlled the game with four minutes left in the second quarter.

LeBron was in the starting lineup and finished with 16 points, five rebounds and four assists. Bronny did not score and did not return to the game after his three minutes in the quarter.

LeBron was a proud father and had a big smile on his face after the game.

“It’s family. “It’s always been family above all else,” LeBron said. “You know, for me, I lost a lot of time because of this league and the commitment to this league, being on the road sometimes, missing a lot of their stuff, Bryce’s stuff, Zhuri’s stuff.

“So being able to have this moment in which I continue working and go to work alongside my son is one of the greatest gifts I have received from the man above and I am going to make the most of it. he.”

Bronny, 20, humbly said, “Going up to the scorer’s table with my dad and checking in for the first time is a crazy moment I’ll never forget.

“I am very grateful for everything. They gave me an incredible opportunity to come to this league and get better every day and learn every day. “I am extremely grateful.”

Bronny, selected in the second round as the 55th pick in the NBA draft, had played in all six preseason games but shot less than 30 percent, averaging 4.2 points.

The new coach of the Lakers JJ Redick – who achieved the first victory of his coaching career – had played both together on October 6 against the Phoenix Suns.

LeBron, who also joined that night Vince Carter as the only players to have played in 22 NBA seasons, and Bronny will face the Suns at home on Friday, when his son will hope to score his first goal in the league.

“It’s not every day that you’re promised that you’ll have the opportunity to play in this beautiful league,” LeBron said. “We are only 450 and I understand that it is not given to you. You have to earn every moment and I think he knows that.

“He looks forward to the progress, the process of improving every day to be the player he ultimately wants to be.

“But I’m very proud of him and he’s my lifesaver, that’s for sure.”
