US Marshals Service Arrests Several Massachusetts Fugitives in Somerset County

MAINE (WABI) – The U.S. Marshals Service in Maine says they arrested several fugitives from Massachusetts in Somerset County.

On Friday, the Marshals Service said Kvon Brooks, 18, who was a passenger in a vehicle in Skowhegan, was arrested on Massachusetts warrants for attempted murder, as well as other assault and vandalism offenses.

Authorities say after arresting Brooks they found another minor passenger who also had warrants out of Massachusetts for several firearms offenses.

On Thursday, the U.S. Marshals Service says they arrested another juvenile after conducting a vehicle stop in Madison.

They say this juvenile had warrants from Massachusetts for several firearms offenses and other vandalism offenses.

Authorities say they also recovered a firearm and drugs.

The three people are accused of being fugitives from justice.
