TO Minnesota Republican State Senator He was accused on Wednesday in the state and federal courts in relation to allegedly requesting the prostitution of a detective who passes through a 17 -year -old girl.

Justin Eichorn, 40, was arrested by Bloomington Police on Monday After they said they had communication with the state senator. Eichorn won national headlines earlier this week after he was co -author of a bill in the Minnesota Senate that he wanted to define “Trump disorder syndrome” as a mental illness.

Federal prosecutors accused Eichorn of an attempt to coercive and incentive of a minor to participate in prostitution.

After the news of the presentation of federal positions, the Hennepin County prosecutor, Mary Moriarty, He told Minnesota Star Tribune His office is dismissing his case, leaving only the open federal case.

Until Wednesday afternoon, no lawyer who represents Eichorn was on the judicial records online.

USA Today tried several times to contact Eichorn’s office, but has not received an answer.

Why was Justin Eichorn arrested?

According to the Federal Court records obtained by USA Today, the detectives “placed ads for commercial sex” on two publicly available websites. Police said these ads attracted several people like Eichorn, who began conversations with undercover agents who published as minor girls.

Then, on March 11, researchers say Eichorn contacted one of the “girls” through online ads.

“Hey (fictitious name) I saw your publication and (sic) possibility that you are still available tonight?” According to judicial records. “What does a boy do to get with the most popular girl online tonight?”

The judicial records say that Eichorn contacted the undercover agent who published as a girl on March 12 and 13. During those interactions, the researchers say that Eichorn asked the “girl” what his age was, to which the undercover agent 17 said.

Police said conversations during these dates included “the” rates “of the covert layer, their alleged age and sexual acts.”

Four days later, it is alleged that Eichorn contacted the undercover agent again, this time asking when they would be available to meet and again requesting “rates.” In the presentation of the court, texts were shared between Eichorn and the undercover agent.

In a text exchange, it is alleged that Eichorn had full knowledge of the age of “girls.”

“I’m 17 years old … As I said, I didn’t want any drama, but I want to be honest because a guy got angry with me,” said the undercover agent.

“Why was I so angry? I think the age of consent is 17, when is he 18 years old?” Eichorn responded, according to judicial documents.

The judicial records then say that Eichorn agreed to meet with the “girl” the next day. On Monday, the police arrested him after the state senator came to know the “girl”, and when the police recorded the Eichorn car, they found two phones, a unopened condom and more than $ 120 in cash that believed that it would have covered 30 minutes of sex.

Eichorn proposed the bill of ‘Trump Disorder Syndrome’

Eichorn and four other state senators called national attention this week later Proposing an invoice That would add “Trump disorder syndrome“To the definition of the state of mental illness.

The bill described the “syndrome” as “the acute beginning of paranoia in normal people who would otherwise be in reaction to the policies and presidencies of (Trump)”.

In addition, the bill described the symptoms of the syndrome as “verbal expressions of extreme hostility” against the president, as well as acts of aggression and violence against their supporters and symbols.

Minnesota politicians demand Eichorn’s resignation

After the news of the arrest, the Republican Caucus of the Senate of Minnesota demanded that Eichorn renounce.

“We are surprised by these reports and this supposed behavior demands an immediate resignation. Justin has a difficult path ahead and needs to concentrate on his family,” a Declaration on Facebook said.

The leader of the majority of the Senate of Minnesota, Erin Murphy, Democrat, said WCCO-TV that the accusations against Eichorn are “disturbing.”

“The accusation of serious crime against Senator Eichorn is deeply disturbing and raises serious questions that must be answered by the court, as well as their caucus and constituents,” he said.
