The All-LKC Women’s Basketball Team announced | News, sports, jobs

Parkerrsburg – Gilmer Allie Allie Ellyson County shipowner and his teammates could not repeat as little Kanawha conference champions, but the Titans of Chief Coach Amy Chapman claimed the final prize when bringing to home the State Crown of Class A.

Although Ellyson and the Titans were overturned by St. Marys, the Senior was honored by the league coaches as the LKC year player before the winner of last season, Addie Davis of the Blue Devils.

“They have always taught me that I need to try to be as humble as possible.” Ellyson admitted, who was runner-up of LKC poy honest last winter, during the post game pressureer of the Titans championship after defeating Tug Valley, 66-22.

“I believe in the evil Karma and I think what is going back.

The MVP of the State Class A tournament played 31 minutes in its last game and ended with 18 points, six rebounds, as well as the game highs of nine assists and five robberies.

“She is hard. She is a good teammate, a great teammate. He puts her team first and is a good leader.” Said coach Chapman, who saw Ellyson averaging 18 points, four assists and three robberies for play. “She works on that in the low season. She has had this goal in mind. She is just a great girl, great leader and we will miss her.

“I remember seeing her when it was a little thing running along the track with a basketball, running around. I think she was in the fourth or fifth grade. He had the desire to be the best that could be from a very early age. That has definitely been tested throughout his career.

“She only makes everyone the best version of themselves.”

Davis, who signed with W.VA. Wesleyan and helped his team to the state semifinals of class AA, was appointed in the upper unit for the fourth time after averaging almost 18 points, five rebounds, five assists and more than three robberies and a blockade.

Ellyson, who goes to Rio Grande, joined as three times honored of the first All-LKC team by Tampa bound for Faith Pickens of Williamstown.

The Yellowjacket basically averaged a double double of 17 points and 10 rebounds per game while fired 50% from the floor and 80% in the free throw line.

A couple of players were appointed for the upper LKC unit for the second time were Ava Dobbins of Gilmer County and Brynnley Bulluck of St. Marys.

The Junior pivot for the Titans registered its first career triple-double in the game of the title against the Panthers after presenting 16 points, 13 rebounds and 10 blocked shots. He averaged 11 points and eight affection per game, while the second chord fired 74% from the line, while averaging almost 15 points to go with more than five boards, more than three assists, two and a half robberies and a block per night.

Elsa’s law helped Ritchie County to return to the state tournament and, although the rebels lost to St. Marys as seed number 7, the second year student scored 27 points and had 10 rebounds. The shipowner averaged 16.4 points, 6.6 boards, 5.3 assists and 5.4 robberies while fired 72% in the foul line.

Junior Payton Trent’s Doddridge County Duo (13.5 ppg, 2.5 RPG, 2.3 APG, 2.4 SPG) and second -year student Aleight Cheeseman (11.6 ppg, 4.3 RPG, 3.4 APG, 4.2 SPG, 2.0 BPG) played fundamental roles to shun the bulldogs back to the return game to the LKC consolation game.

The state champion Gilmer County was also represented in the first team for the threat of 3 points and free throws Lena Frymier. The Junior averaged almost 10 points.

Williamstown, who defeated the Bulldogs for third place in the LKC again and was expelled in the regional co-final in St. Marys, also landed the second year shipowner Quinn Bunch (11.4 ppg, 3.5 APG, 2.9 SPG, 73% FT).

He joined Davis and Bulluck in the first unit was his teammate Senior Callie Powell (10.9 ppg, 3.1 RPG, 2.7 APG, 1.7 SPG).

The Junior of Roane County, Anna Tolley, obtained a wink to the first team after averaging 14.7 points, 3.7 caroms, 1.5 assists, 2.9 robberies, shooting 79% in the free throw line and helping the assailants to the regional co -face before leaving before the eventual state champion of double to Catholic.

They were also selected for the first team Tyler Consolidated Katie Grimm (15 ppg, 5 rpg, 3.5 APG, 2.9 SPG), Wahama Junior Fiona Vanmatre (11.3 ppg, 8.7 rpg) and South Harrison Senior Halle Bland (14 ppg).

The Second Was Led By Calhoun County’s Paige Sterns and Also Included Williamstown Teammates Arissa Burt and Gracie Montgomery, St. Marys’ Anna Bennett, Titan Malory Casteel, rebels Chelsie Jeffrey and Rae Rupert, Doddridge County’s a’kaia Williams County’s Braylin Bowe, Wirt County’s Breigyn Dawson, Tyler Consolidated’s Jules Lattea, Ravenswood’s Kadi price, Maddie Williams of the Webster County, Bailey Pritt by Braxton County, Elissa Hoffman of Wahama and Adalee Wright of South Harrison.
