Seriously injured pedestrians after being hit by trax train

Salt Lake City, Utah (Kutv) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a Trax train.

They were beaten just after 7 pm on Tuesday, about 400 South and the red line of the Square Library to the University of Utah, said a spokesman for the Utah transit authority.

They were transported to a hospital in the area. It is not known if their injuries are potentially mortal.

Trains have resumed their regular schedules, with some delays.

The incident is still under investigation.
