The striking real estate agent of New York, another 3 took care of the houses under the noses of the owners: prosecutors

Four people, including a striking real estate agent with an inclination for leopard print boots, supposedly stole three expensive houses in Queens through a writing fraud scheme, prosecutors said on Tuesday.

The real estate agent Autumn Valeri, 41, of Comck, New York, known for his colorful presence of Instagram, and his accomplices forged signatures and presented false documents before the office of the city registry two years ago to take care of the houses more than $ 3 million, said the District prosecutor of Queens, Melinda Katz.

Valeri and the others – Carl Avinger, 42, and Lawrence T. Ray, 38, of Queens; And Timey Guice de Roselle, New Jersey, was supplied on Tuesday after a large jury delivered an accusation of 47 charges that detailed the wild crimes, which included charges of large theft, criminal possession of stolen property, conspiracy, identification, robbery, falsifications of commercial records and other offenses, said the DA Office.

“This is a case in which the defendants acted in concert to forge documents, presented failed instruments and robbed homes of vulnerable victims in Queens County,” said Assistant District Prosecutor Rachel Stein in the Court on Tuesday.

Each declared himself innocent in his positions in the Supreme Court of Queens County.

The authorities say that his scheme began on April 10, 2023, when Avinger and Valeri presented a false document before the city’s finance department who claimed a 76 -year -old woman who owns a house on 208th Street in Jamaica Estates, was transferring writing to a company that possessed Ray.

The conspirators also forged the firm of the woman’s dead sister, who was once co -owner of the house, and a notary, prosecutors said.

A few weeks later, Avinger and Valeri allegedly did the same to a mother and a daughter who had a house in 61st Road in Kew Garden Hills, then falsified more documents, including a marriage certificate and a driver’s license, so that they could sell it to a third party in May 2023 for $ 600,000.

They allegedly sent around $ 442,000 to Ray’s bank account after the sale, which has since been subject to a civil demand that is now waiting due to the investigation.

On May 4, the defendants tried to hook another house of Jamaica Estates, this property of an 82 -year -old woman, through the same subsisting process, prosecutors said.

The Judge of the Supreme Court Leigh Cheng reduced the defendants in the supervised release after their hearings, but required an electronic monitor for Avinger, which has a litany of serious crimes and convictions for minor crimes.

The prosecutor’s office requested to keep it on bail of $ 1.5 million, citing that story and an open order from Nassau County, the Aldias and False Names series of Avinger and the fact that the authorities had revoked their probation four times.

But despite the “serious charges” and “serious criminal records”, Cheng decided to grant supervised release.

Valeri and the others supposedly presented false documents to the city to take possession of the properties.

A Valeri lawyer, whose Instagram profile is loaded with selfies and motivating slogans who face the attention, said he lives with his sick mother and his 6 -month -old son, whom he had with Avinger.

Cheng decided to limit Valeri to Long Island and the five districts before releasing her.

Each defendant could serve between five and 25 years in prison if he is convicted.

His next date in court is April 29.
