Serious injuries reported after the reinvestment of RV in SR-85 near Buckeye

BUCKYE, AZ (Azfamily) – Two people have been seriously injured after a turnaround that involves a RV on state route 85 near Buckeye on Monday morning.

The accident occurred just after 11:30 am on the lanes north of SR-85 near Milepost 142. The aerial video showed a great motorhome on its side beyond the road shoulder. A SUV was also directly visible behind the RV, but it is not clear if the vehicle threw it or got involved separately.

The Arizona Public Security Department informs that three people were in the RV, two of which were seriously injured. DPS says that a medical helicopter landed on the road to transport the patient more injured by criticism of a Phoenix hospital.

Adot has closed the lanes to the north of SR 85 near Buckeye Hills Drive. There is no estimated time for reopening.

It is not clear what caused the turnaround, and no other details have been published yet.
