1 person seriously injured in a front accident with RV in Mayfield

Serious County, Ky. (KFVS) – A person was seriously injured after a car crashed from an RV, according to the police.

The accident occurred around noon on Monday, March 10 at the Dick Castleman bypass between TD Jones Drive and Badger Drive.

According to Mayfield police, when the officers arrived at the scene, Mayfield-Graves EMS was already dealing with injuries and eliminating a person from his vehicle.

Police determined that Jerry Groves, 33, from Paducah, was north on Dick Castleman derivative in a black Chevrolet sedan when he lost control of his vehicle, turning on the southern lane.

They say that Kevin Davisson, 66, and Nancy Davisson, 69, both from Machesney, Illinois, went south at the Bypass in their 24 -foot Winnebago RV when they saw themselves by Groves.

The Daviss were taken to a hospital in the area for the treatment of “non -threatening life” injuries.

Groves was transferred by plane to a hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, with “serious” injuries.
