RG KAR case: mother of requests for requests of doctor murdered with Prime Minister Modi for Justice

Kolkata: The mother of Dr. RG Kar, who was raped and killed, requested a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to seek justice for her daughter on Saturday.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the afflicted mother raised concerns about the safety of women in Western Bengal.

In addition, he expressed his desire to meet with the prime minister to intervene in the matter.

“I would like to comply with the prime minister and appeal to intervene in this matter and consider our plea for justice for our deceased daughter,” he said.

The mother of the deceased doctor declared that she never imagined that her daughter would meet such a tragic destiny. In addition, he questioned why, after seven months since the horrible incident, justice has not been served.

“Our daughter had great dreams, and we never imagined that she would have to die that way. Seven months have passed since she left us, but where is justice? We don’t even have the death certificate,” he said.

“If a doctor is not sure in their workplace, where is the security?” She questioned.

In response to the mother’s request, the ally of Prime Minister Modi and BJP MLA, Agnimitra Paul, said the prime minister would hear the parents appeal. “There is a process to seek an appointment with the prime minister, and I am sure that our prime minister will give them some time and listen to their appeal,” he said.

However, the leader of the Trinamool Congress and the Minister of State Finance Chandrima Bhattacharya played a political letter, stating that anyone can seek an appointment with the Prime Minister. She added: “But we must not forget that it was our leader, Mamata Banerjee, who took the first step, which led to the arrest of the culprit, Sanjoy Roy. Even the research agency could not differ from its findings.”

Sanjoy Roy, civic volunteer of the Kolkata Police and the convict in the case of violation and murder, was sentenced to life imprisonment until the death of January 20.

Both the CBI and the state government had presented appeals before the Superior Court of Calcutta, looking for the death penalty for Roy.

On February 7, the Superior Court of Calcutta refused to admit the appeal of the state government, challenging the life sentence of the Court of First Instance, but accepted the similar declaration of the Central Investigation Agency.
