Bucks County Spca rescues 53 cats that are accumulated in a self -coupling unit

The Bucks County SPCA reported Monday afternoon that 53 cats and kittens rescued from a self -statement unit without heating at the end of last week were improving and their owner faced charges of animal cruelty.

The organization reported on Friday That animals control of the municipality of Falls discovered that cats were accumulated in a storage installation, later identified as public storage in Fairless Hills.

Bucks County Spca was notified and responded with a team to rescue cats and kittens that were kept in “narrow and transport and transport operators,” the organization published on Facebook. Many were sick and some were seriously ill.

Monday, Bucks County Spca Posted an update That all cats were eating well and were being housed in the two shelters of the organization while recovering.

“Many of the cats are being treated by ear mites, upper respiratory infections and fleas. Several serious serious cats are quite thin and have ulcerated injuries as a result of having to live in their own dirt for prolonged periods, ”said Bucks County SPCA.

“They were housed in the unit without heating for less than 2 weeks while their owner was looking for new homes. The owner faces multiple charges of animal cruelty and negligence, ”said the organization.

Bucks County SPCA said he didn’t believe cats were the Lower Bucks County area. If someone has a lost cat and wants to verify if their pet is among the rescued animals, they can present a lost report on the Bucks County Spca website and upload photos.

All cats were scanned for microchips and the organization found none. Some of the cats are castrated and with their ear.
