Worcester man arrested in connection with man found dead in woods

A Worcester man was arrested in connection with the death of a man whose body was discovered in Hubbardston Forest during the weekend.

Mitchell Burke, 32, of Worcester, was identified as the man killed, the Worcester District Attorney’s Office announced Monday.

Ryan Wilcox, 32, of Worcester, was arrested in connection with Burke’s death on Sunday. He faces charges of armed assault with intent to kill, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury and assault with a dangerous weapon, the district attorney’s office said.
