Pedestrian hit and seriously injured in east Charlotte, MEDIC says

A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured in east Charlotte early Wednesday morning.

According to MEDIC, the collision occurred near Edsel Place.

MEDIC said the pedestrian, who has not been identified, was being treated for life-threatening injuries and transported to Atrium CMC.
