Dangerous winds and snow cause treacherous travel conditions tonight.

Hastings, Neb. (KSNB) – As the storm continues during the night, we will continue to see wind bursts too. We have already seen multiple warnings of snow tubes, and wind bursts of up to 70 mph informed. Fortunately, the snow will be finishing during the night, but the winds remain very strong. The winds will continue to break around 60 to 70 mph during the afternoon hours, decreasing to 50 to 60 mph in tomorrow morning. Temperatures continue to fall during the night tonight until tomorrow morning with minimums in the mid -20th. The winds remain strong during the morning, but will decrease in the afternoon hours. Temperatures remain in the 40s for most, with the 50s probably southwest. After the storm moves in the morning, mostly sunny during the afternoon.

Thursday’s temperatures are heated in the upper 40 and 50 lows throughout the area. The cloudy skies will take place in the morning and continue during the afternoon, since our next system will approach from the west. Possible rain and snow showers at the end of the afternoon, early at night, especially west. This will extend to the east towards the hours during the night before changing to the snow. Most of the snow will remain light, but some moderate snow pockets are possible, especially north of the I-80. The snow showers continue until Friday morning as the advantageous conditions continue. Temperatures remain fresh in the upper 30 and 40 bass, since we remain mostly cloudy.

After this busy week, the weekend looks much better. A lot of sun with temperatures in the 50s on Saturday and 60 for Sunday. The beautiful weather continues to start next week as temperatures are heated in the upper 60, with about 70 possible. We will see that it continues until Tuesday before a cold front advances when bringing back temperatures to 50 for Wednesday. The possibility of precipitation could return to the end of next week, but so far it is difficult to identify anything yet. In general, it only exceeds this week, the weather much better returns this weekend.
