High surf notice that affects Mobile and Baldwin counties until Sunday night: rupture waves of 4 to 6 feet of forecast

The National Meteorological Service issued a surf high warning at 2:31 am on Saturday 9 pm until Sunday of the 6 PM for Mobile and Baldwin counties.

The weather service establishes, “large waves of 4 to 6 expected feet in the surf area.”

“Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and erosion located on the beach. The hangover currents can even drag the best swimmers away from the coast to deeper waters,” describes the weather service. “Inexperienced swimmers must remain out of the water due to the dangerous surfing conditions. They swim near a lifeguard. If trapped in a current of tear, relax and float. Do not swim against the current. If possible, swim in one direction later of the coast.
