Takla virus reaches Maharashtra: people go bald in just 3 days; Awaken fear | India News

Amid the fear caused by the HMPV virus in the states of the country, another virus has caused a sense of panic in the Buldhana district of Maharashtra. The virus was named ‘Takla’. Residents of Buldhana are terrified by the dangerous disease.

The virus was named ‘takla’ virus after people suddenly started going bald in just three days. Following the emergence of this suspected virus, the number of people affected by hair loss began to increase and the outbreak has left many villagers in a state of alarm.

Reports suggest that the virus has spread to several villages in the region. Local residents report that it has been 10 to 12 days since the disease began to spread rapidly. According to media reports, around 15 villages in Shegaon tehsil of Buldhana district are affected by this unusual disease.

Affected villages include Hingna, Bondgaon, Bhota and Pahur Purna, and a significant number of people fell ill. The disease, in which people lose their hair rapidly, has been named “Takala Virus.”

Although there is no official information on its symptoms yet, it is believed that the disease begins with an itchy scalp. Little by little, the hair begins to fall out and, within half a week, the entire head becomes bald. In some cases, the hair can be pulled out easily. Children, the elderly and women also suffer from this condition.

The health department has been alerted following multiple reports of hair loss. In response to the complaints, the department has conducted a survey to investigate the cause of the illness. Health officials are now testing water samples from affected villages for possible contamination.
