The application will be available on January 1, 2025.
The city council said it will allow customers to purchase additional hours without the need to return to their vehicle.
Physical discs can still be purchased from local retailers and at Littlehampton Civic Center and Bognor Regis Town Hall on designated days, at a cost of £6 per year, he added.
Councilor Sue Wallsgrove said: “We believe that having a virtual drive to facilitate parking, in addition to a physical drive, meets everyone’s needs.
“We know there is an increase in cost, but we believe it is still excellent value and supports people visiting our town centers at a minimal cost.”
